knitting

Here's the knitting:

recently finished scarf for my sister out of the most annoying yarn to work with ever, which she picked out.
Pictures of the lace scarf that I have been working on forever! Yeah its gonna need to be blocked, and it obviously is not done yet.Picture of new scarf just started for my friend. It is just a dropped yarnover thing, and I believe it is soysilk from Southwest trading double stranded. The cute needles were from my SP5 pal!

I haven't felt much like updating lately. My sister is doing ok now. She spent a couple of days in the hospital after the procedure. She lost about 1/3 of her blood. I have no idea if that is a normal thing or not. Now she is on 2 weeks of being off of work at home resting with someone watching her at all times. I was ok with everything then PMS hit this week and I got sad all over again.

In a couple of weeks I am going to Los Angeles to visit my friend Amy, the scarf above is for her. I haven't been out to Cali since I was 22? And I had pneumonia (sp?), so I spent a lot of time on the couch sleeping, and Tony had a really great time. I'll only be there for Thursday through Monday, I think I can really use the vacation!
