down to the nitty gritty.

I have ten days until my test! Just ten days. Is it coincidental that I have already studied for 10 hours today? Probably not. I've got my hotel booked for the days of the test. Thank you IL Bar for choosing down town chicago for the test site. Really because the idea of staying in a hotel that costs less then $300 a night is really just horrible. Seriously though, Chicago traffic is a nightmare. I don't live in a location that is convenient to the EL, and I would have to get up at the ass crack of dawn in order to make it in time if I took the train. So wildly expensive hotel it is!

I haven't had much time for the knitting, but my list of projects I want to make once I finish this test is growing soooo long! I have finished one side of the tank from One Skien. I also somewhere along the line made a baby bolero that needs to be seamed from the masondixon book.

My mom got her second package from her secret pal today. It's got a really cool yarn that I think was made by Noro in it. I've never seen it before. Can't wait to see what my mom makes with it. I need to get on the ball and mail out my second package. It's been sitting in a box just waiting to be addressed and have a little note added to it for nearly a week. I have to admit I am kind jealous that my mom has received her second package already, and I haven't even gotten one. Secret pal are you still out there?

Hi!
Remember me, you first secret pal...the world is buring up...did you see Al Gore's new movie? My husband is a scientist who looks at global warming, scary business...I have been knitting a lot, making up my own stuff, but not doing secret pal or blog. I hope I can get back to the blog some day because little H is really tired of being in her box. When I was out for a run today, I found a little chair for her, so maybe I will let her sit on the chair instead of staying in the fetal position in the box. I haven't read your blog all the way through...you are done with law school and are you working in Chicago? Hope all is well with you. Deborah
