Just an update to let everyone know that Bud is going into the vet tomorrow. Starting tonight, he is fasting. Then I'll drop him off at the vet in the morning where they are going to do a series of tests over the course of the day. I hope he cooperates! One year ago this week my dad had his open heart surgery. In October he ran the Chicago Marathon (he beat my 23 year old brother). He is amazing. The whole event brought my family closer together. I am so lucky that my dad's condition was detected early and that he had such a great podiatrist! Read here for the podiatrist story (I think it's a pretty good story). Today he is doing great.

These are the pics of my secret pal gift. There is some spongebob stickers and fruitsnacks (I'm a big fan of fruit snacks!), some sock yarn from knitpicks with a sock pattern from magknits, and some super cute stitchmarkers from zephyr!
